LG Chem Europe based in Geneva, Switzerland, is the European headquarters and fully owned subsidiary of LG Chem. Its main task is to develop the product portfolio of LG Chem in Europe.

LG Chem produces a wide variety of products, including cosmetics, personal care products, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and specialty chemicals.

Operations are split into three major areas:

Chemicals and polymers - PVC, acrylates, and engineering plastics.
Industrial materials - window frames, flooring materials, and other construction industry products.
Information & electronic materials - rechargeable batteries and TFT-LCD display materials

Research and Development

Research at LG Chem plays a vital role in maintaining long term corporate competitiveness. The company operates six research institutes with more than 1,000 specialists in world-class research facilities. It also has a solid global network of cooperation and partnerships with leading overseas institutes for mutual technology development
